Accompanied by
Doom ridden chants.

Senseless rants
Orders made,
Sections, slain,
Industrial action
Late Blooming.

We tread the measure
of a different note,
as masters of our new regime
dispense by rote,
through media route,
Bulletins to staff.
*
To slash,
Cut,
Pre-budget,
Bodies fall
Victims to the greater good.
*
The frail fail,
As superior staff of note,
Display acquiescence
To democratic demi-gods
*
Personal needs,
Feed ambitions,
Power driven
To slash staff
….And cities.
